Almost all of our problems are inversely proportional to our levels of education. In order to treat the cause of these problems we need to empower people with education.
Educated people, and educated nations, are thus empowered to transcend a life of mere survival. Educated people and educated nations are empowered to help themselves.
As technology advances the ways of acquiring information drastically change.
Since its creation in 2001, Wikipedia® has grown rapidly into one of the largest reference web sites, attracting around 65 million visitors monthly as of 2009.
Yahoo!® launched Yahoo! Answers in July 2005 and as of October 2009 it claims 179 million users worldwide with over 1 billion questions and answers.
I foresee that in the near future, e-Learning will be incorporated in all educational institutions worldwide.
Imagine a free, self-organizing, growing repository of the entire world’s factual knowledge, at every level of education.
Imagine an online video education resource where anyone could submit a virtual lesson on any subject in their own language.
Every individual with an Internet connection can potentially access this rich, empowering world of knowledge. From basic language and numeracy, through to different languages, through to advanced theoretical physics, everyone can learn.

I am so excited about the launch of this website! I think this is the beginning of anticipated advanced learning that many people have been waiting for. To think that with only a computer, one might have the freedom of knowledge. Endless knowledge. Not your typical textbook, text-written knowledge, but perhaps demonstrations, lectures, labs, physical procedures all being depicted step by step with the learners preference as to storing and compiling the learned material with their own personal findings at their own speed. This is going to be truly revolutionary!
This power will allow the citizens of the world to prevent, rather than to diagnose and treat the symptoms.
Educated nations will be empowered to help themselves in progressing in fields such as medicine, technology, universal health-care, information technology, and everything that advances our species.
